Well, the wedding went off without a hitch, the toasts were great, what can we say - thanks everyone for sharing that special day. It means the world to us.
We've posted some of our favorite pictures from the wedding, check the photo gallery to see them. Here's my favorite.
xoxo
So much going on - just a quick note to say we can't wait to see you all... TOMORROW!
Love,
Colleen and Sean
Dudes, that was a great party. 'nuff said.
Best part of course is that the poker chips only represented cigars and not dollars. I would start to feel reeeeeal bad about cleaning everyone's (now-quite-shiny) clocks.
Thanks again, Gents. See you guys in a week for the Real Show!
What can I say?
You all threw one heck of a party. Not sure which was the second-best part: the salmon hors d'eouvres, the absolutely perfect weather, or having all of you there at one time to share this hectic, exciting time with me.
The best part, clearly, was the Mocha Mountain of Chocolate Death Cake!
Thanks everyone for coming. Mom and Elise, thanks for organizing it! And Mary, Sara, and Geena, thanks for coming from so far away to join us.
Just a few more weeks!!!!!!!!!!
Our rings just came in yesterday. They look great!
Sean's is part gold, part titanium. Mine's plain-jane and just gold, but looks great with the engagement ring. We'll get pics up soon!
So, lest anyone ever doubted - after over 2 years together, after moving up to West Lafayette to be near Colleen at Purdue, after... - there is now incontrovertible evidence that I will do anything for my bride-to-be.
Ballroom dancing lessons are not the piece of cake that Dancing With The Stars would have you believe it is. But I'm not about to let generations of two left feet stop me from getting up in front a hundred people to cut some rugs. Oh, rugs will be cut.
Guess we better find a DJ now that my toes are twinkling.
See the pic to see what we look like warming up.
We have a caterer. And the food, guys, is amazing. The halibut was out of season and still tasted better than any fish I've ever had.
I know that sounds just like an overexcited bride-to-be, but believe me, it was that good.
